As we all saw last night, Georges Niang made the game-winning basket against West Virginia. With this in mind, what is the most memorable game-winning basket that you have seen at Hilton? This could be past or present.

Mine is Scott Christopherson's three to win against Oklahoma State.

Thoughts?

Royce vs KSU was fun ... mainly because I hate KSU bball fans . (although I did love Frank Martin)

That I've been in attendance for, definitely Scotty Thug Life's 3 against Oky Lite. Royce and George's were great but still had that last little bit of time left to be a little nervous that the other team might make a shot. Scotty's goes in after the buzzer sounds, the place erupts, students on chairs in the student section. Good times. I look forward to continuing to be a very spoiled student here Hilton Magic-wise.

Yeah I've only been going since McDermotts last year, so it isn't a complete list, but I'd go like this:

1. Scotty vs OSU
2. Babb vs KU (not a buzzer beater but clinched it)
3. Royce vs KSU
4. Georges vs WVU

And I absolutely put my foot through a chair in Cyclone Alley celebrating the Scotty buzzerbeater.

Vanderbeeken's three against Creighton :jimlad:

*Technically not Hilton....

While i wouldnt say that one was terribly memorable (and the jimlad justified) i would say that it was important, in that it was a bit of a cathartic win for the program, wiping away the old regime. It wouldve sucked to lose to GMac months after he left.

I didn't enjoy Scotty's 3 because I was so ****** off at the way we were playing. I literally didn't even care at that point I wa so mad. It's a shame that I didn't let myself enjoy it.

I liked the one Grayer hit as a Freshman to beat Drake at the last second.

Little soft jumper that was 2 of 54 for Lafester. His shot at the end of the first half was a little more spectacular but that little jumper clinched the game.

1999. Marcus Fizer's dunk to beat Kansas in the last game of Eustchy's first year. We were a bad team but pulled off the upset to finish the season.
