  • Hi Stormin I just recently started visiting the political board. I was really frustrated with your thread on the bailouts. I mean most of the conservatives arguments are short sighted. If GM were to go down, then so would all the suppliers to them and then their suppliers too. Essentially this would cause a chain reaction. They say GM owes the tax payer, however, if all those jobs were lost from the chain reaction, it would cost more in tax revenue not coming in than what the tax payer paid out for the bailout in the first place. Is my thinking wrong on this? Anyway, thanks for putting up a fight for progressives.
