UPS hires part time drivers over Christmas so maybe he had the car full and was getting ready for his side gig after the game. Those coaches don’t make much you know.Ahahahaha... was the FIRST thing out of my mouth when the game started!

Heacock plays his base to start and then adjusts accordinhly. It may have taken longer, since we didn't have tape on UO versus our D and they played a backup QB we had not prepped for or had much tape on.I admit I freaked out on the D in the first half. I know it's typically a slow-build for that unit, but we were getting eaten alive.
I'd probably rather have the D struggle early and the offense be firing on (almost) all cylinders, compared to the opposite.
To be fair to Heacock (though the defense offered no resistance in the first quarter) it usually takes him 2-3 possessions to get his adjustments working. I think if you take away the fumble which I think happened on the second play of that drive, and the kickoff recovery, on top of the time we were eating up on offense, I think Oregon really only had three real drives in the half.Heacock plays his base to start and then adjusts accordinhly. There were definitely people freaking out about the defense. I was more concerned, because I think at half they were getting 9 yards per play. We just offered up no resistance whatsoever against their offense in the first half until the end of that drive where we were able to force them into a field goal.I feel like we should know this by now. Our defense is slow to start usually. It's not a new thing. Much like Manning will often have a game where the offense looks bad and we all freak out about it. Or how this team always looks bad in game 1.
Where is that at? I'd love to watch thatWatching the Skycast replay. Great view of the field of play, with the added bonus that you don’t have to listen to the espn crew.

I actually thought they were pretty good last night? Much better than they have been.Watching the Skycast replay. Great view of the field of play, with the added bonus that you don’t have to listen to the espn crew.

I think they were still talking about Texas on one of our 4th downs.I actually thought they were pretty good last night? Much better than they have been.
I mean, Texas fired and hired a head coach like two hours before our game.I think they were still talking about Texas on one of our 4th downs.
