I generally don’t bother to read the sports section of my local paper, but I will today.

And the Iowa State box score copy pasted from 2019. Photo too big to attach from mobile site.
Jones, Lazard, Montgomery, Ryen, Butler, and Daley all getting yards from receiving in box score for 2021 bowl game.

Now that is has been confirmed the Oregon coach works part time for UPS, that does explain why some of my packages I ordered before Christmas still have not arrived.

Duh!
I admit I freaked out on the D in the first half. I know it's typically a slow-build for that unit, but we were getting eaten alive.

I'd probably rather have the D struggle early and the offense be firing on (almost) all cylinders, compared to the opposite.
Heacock plays his base to start and then adjusts accordinhly. It may have taken longer, since we didn't have tape on UO versus our D and they played a backup QB we had not prepped for or had much tape on.

To be fair to Heacock (though the defense offered no resistance in the first quarter) it usually takes him 2-3 possessions to get his adjustments working. I think if you take away the fumble which I think happened on the second play of that drive, and the kickoff recovery, on top of the time we were eating up on offense, I think Oregon really only had three real drives in the half.

I feel like we should know this by now. Our defense is slow to start usually. It's not a new thing. Much like Manning will often have a game where the offense looks bad and we all freak out about it. Or how this team always looks bad in game 1.

There were definitely people freaking out about the defense. I was more concerned, because I think at half they were getting 9 yards per play. We just offered up no resistance whatsoever against their offense in the first half until the end of that drive where we were able to force them into a field goal.

Watching the Skycast replay. Great view of the field of play, with the added bonus that you don’t have to listen to the espn crew.

Im watching on the espn app. Go to On Demand and you can scroll across. You should see all the bowl games, and you should see a separate “Command Center ORE va ISU” game where you can select the sky cam feed. I think in the app went to espn+ and then On Demand. You might also need to go to ncaa football.
