Honestly, all the UNLV talk could simply be from one guy in RV's group having an ulterior motive or having a bad read of RV. That's all it would take. Two people get wind of that one opinion and a reporter uses them as sources and says Vaughn to UNLV. Everyone wants to be first and have the scoop so it spreads through the media using the same two sources from the same faulty opinion. That could EASILY be what's happening.
Now, is that what is happening? I doubt it, but with RV's tweet about nobody knowing anything and the way he has kept things secretive I wouldn't be shocked.

Could be that. Could be a leak to put pressure on him to choose UNLV. Could be a purposeful misdirection. Could be the 100% truth. Who knows?

Agreed. I just want to dispel the theory that because multiple media outlets report the same thing that it means it must be true. Could all have the same bad source.

You woke up with all sorts of hate today. Listen, I never said anyone on here knows Vaughn, or any of his people, but I do believe there are some on here that know people within the Iowa St. program. Can what they are saying be completely true? No, but you can't sit and completely call them out, because you have no idea. There are some that get, what I feel, is accurate news from within the program, and I appreciate it when they share on CF. They're not forcing you to believe them.
I for one hope the hell we get Vaughn as well. And I have no inside information, so I don't know where he's going either. But don't come on here and bash people for supplying information. That's one of the main reasons I come here.

It was pure speculation and also driven by many a disgruntled Minny fan. That said I don't ever want us to go that route to get a recruit. Leave that crap for KU.

It's not just here. There are posters on other message boards with much better track records than anyone on here saying he won't be coming to ISU. We'll find out later today what really happens. Weird things happen in recruiting all the time.

I will say that I've had really good inside information on one recruit, and it was correct, and my source only knew less than an hour before it happened.

The predictions on 247 sports mean nothing. These are just a bunch of guys who see one guy flip and they all flip. As Rashad said, noone knows anything. Take Andrew Wiggins for instance.
