So just because he says UNLV today or UNC, he can't sign for 2 more months. Plenty of time for Fred to flip him to the good guys.

That's almost as silly as me implying that it's on this particular show because Wally Szczerbiak is good friends with Fred. That is every bit as valid (and delusional) as your assertion.

As far as the meltdown, I am quite sure that the optimistic/positive posters will not meltdown. It's the Debbie Downers of the world that do that.

Not silly at all. UNLV and RV can communicate with each other. RV informed UNLV that he was going there and UNLV suggested he announce the selection on CBSSN instead of ESPNU who doesn't carry MWC games. Final nail in the coffin for ISU.

Isn't CBS Sports the channel that has broadcasted a few of his HS games?

Chill out, people. ESPN isn't going to pick this up, but who wouldn't want their announcement on tv? What other channel would you prefer him on? Big 10 network because he has no Big 10 teams in his final 5? Or would you get worried that he's going to Minnesota? Yeesh.

I don't know if it's true or not, but my buddy said that the losing coaches just got emails from his handler thanking them for their interest, but he won't be going there.

Seems like he'd call them, but I've never been a top 20 recruit.

find it wierd that they would do this hours before the "tv event". and an email? what is this, 2007?

Well Jeff Borzello works for cbssports.net, is a top 5 predictor, and he still has ISU as RV choice. Maybe he just hasn't updated his pick which I doubt but hey just sayin....

I agree its one thing to say thanks but no thanks its quite another to be dismissal of college coaches wouldnt just be an ouch that's like taking your best friends girl then asking said best friend if he wants to join you guys on a movie date.
