I DVR'ed Breaking Bad just to watch the Walking Dead clip. I was kind of disappointed. They did just start shooting about a month ago, so I guess I had my hopes up a bit too high.
I really want the next hardcover book to come out so I can read that. Reading one issue at a time is too frustrating for me.

Show is pretty different from the books. That said, the books are much better. But they are different enough where you don't know what is coming up exactly. Like the CDC, never happens in the books. The Dixon brothers are not in the books. A few other characters aren't in there either and vice-versa.
The first book is kind of slow compared to the rest of the books. After the 1st book it really picks up steam.

Can't wait. A few months ago AMC had a Walking dead marathon and I recorded all the episodes. I wish I started watching them a week or 2 ago. I doubt I will have time before Sunday.
There will be 13 episodes this season but there will be a small break in the middle of the season (I think after episode 7).
There were only 6 episodes last year. That's all that were made because they didn't know if it would catch on. They didn't want to try and rush more out so they just decided to leave it at 6 episodes for season one and try to come back with a decent amount of episodes for season two
