My favorite was the time KCM made a play and Tommy called him something like "Cotter-Moto". He's only a team captain, returning all conference player, and maybe the best safety in the Big 12. With even little prep before the game you can get the stars' names right. I've never posted about the announcers before but Tuberville is a special kind of bad.

I'm pretty sure he called him Cameron Moto, which I think are some kind of made only to order golf clubs.

I usually rewatch home games on TV when we get home, but if I rewatch this crew, it will be on mute.

Play by play guy wasn't great but he didn't make me want to puncture my ear drums like Tuberville. Makes me miss Fox Sports Midwest, announcers for KU game were pretty good.

Hopefully this will help with ticket sales on Saturday...

The repeated use of "earned that call" was getting to me...

That was as frustrating to me as our offensive play down the stretch. Were a couple of those flags marginal? Yes but they were still correctly called IMO especially when you rewatch the tape. Every PI they drew they had a player with an arm around our receiver.

I knew it was going to be a long afternoon with that crew when all of their minds were blown when the replay officials took WV's first TD off the board and marked the receiver out at the 10. FFS his foot was clearly on the line, it really doesn't get much easier than that.

I'm always angry with announcers when we're doing bad, but Tuberville is awful.

Really seemed like he disliked ISU, which I can't figure out why

Is he mad we hired Rhoads and not him after they were fired from Auburn?

In both basketball and football I'm routinely amazed by how little former head coaches appear to know about the game.
