Saw the Sam Adams Winter Lager today. I think it was at the Ankeny Target.

One of my favorite winter beers was the Leinenkugel Fireside Nut Brown Ale, which they infortunately stopped making several years ago.

Super tasty and equally disappointed they stopped making it ... They also use to make a cinnamon apple ale or something like that which was pretty good as well ...

I like the Winter Lager too. Nice Beer. Also a big fan of the original Sam Adams lager. Hard to beat that one IMO.

Picked up a 6er of Deschutes Hop Trip. Solid. Also you cannot go wrong with Sierra Nevada Celebration. Excellent fresh hop beer.

I have a black ipa on tap that I used fresh, homegrown Cascade for the flameout/dry hop additions. It's probably the best beer I've made.

Sam Adams Cream Stout hands down is the best Sam Adams beer. It's a world class stout. Other than that I don't really like what Sam Adams has to offer. Their Oktoberfest and Cherry Wheat are alright.

Currently working through a six-pack of Shock Top. On a Belgian White kick right now.

I used to really like Sam Adams Winter Lager (it was one of the first craft beers I ever had) but I completely burned out on it a few years back.

Sierra Nevada Celebration is by far my favorite Christmas/Winter seasonal beer these days.

The problem with IPA is it's like Xanax. After a while, you need more hops and more hops until you ar lying in your own droll and an empty bottle of hopgod laying next to you while crying..... Too far?

Ruination is the way to roll if you want to kill your taste buds with hops. I'll drink it occasionally but it's usually a last beer of the night/day.

I'm kind of burnt out on the whole home brew thing. I like doing it but then I have 50 beers of the same thing. On top of that I haven't made anything that I would consider excellent.
