There's always a bunch of **** heads in the game day thread who moan and whine at every battle lost. It's the war not the battles that matter, and guess what, the other team has talent, smart coaches, and is trying too. They think they are justified and anyone who gets sick of the schtick will just accept mediocrity.Yea, I just got back to hotel, didn’t follow the thread, but curious about the over/under on losers and Rotters that bailed on the team early…
Often, actually, CMC teams have been better on the road than at home. I'm not sure where you get this sentiment. They're not wrong in saying that the WVU game will be the hardest one left this year. We take the Baylor game to Morgantown it's a loss.
SIAP
I haven't been around long, but.....yes.People who have been around longer than me, is heacock the best coordinator we have ever had by a long shot? Seems that way to me I just expect us to give up 7 or less 2nd half points amost every game like clockwork.
Not a fb historian by any means, but IMO easily and that he seems content to stay is even better for us.People who have been around longer than me, is heacock the best coordinator we have ever had by a long shot? Seems that way to me I just expect us to give up 7 or less 2nd half points amost every game like clockwork.

There was no one like Mangino.People who have been around longer than me, is heacock the best coordinator we have ever had by a long shot? Seems that way to me I just expect us to give up 7 or less 2nd half points amost every game like clockwork.
Combined questionable play calling in the first drive and bad QB decision with the int. The slow start against a team that was able to capitalize early.Often, actually, CMC teams have been better on the road than at home. I'm not sure where you get this sentiment.
I’m not going to go back to the Majors or Bruce eras, but I think I can say with confidence. Best coordinator with any longevity whatsoever? Yes.People who have been around longer than me, is heacock the best coordinator we have ever had by a long shot? Seems that way to me I just expect us to give up 7 or less 2nd half points amost every game like clockwork.
Not explosive? What team are you watching? This is the most explosive team we've had since 2020, and they were aided by a weird year. After 5 games the team is what it is. They aren't an explosive team. They take some time to get momentum. But once it gets going down hill they are hard to stop.
The whole broadcast was awful. Fox is not putting any effort into these games. It is time for Tim Brando to retire. I was so sick of the way he slobbered all over Dave Aranda and the Baylor team.
Tech and Cincy at home are games we need to win if we want to reach the mountain top. Period.I am worried about the WVU, TTU, and Cincy games. They will not be gimmies and will be just as intense and close as the Baylor game was in the 1st half.
Agreed to the first paragraph. Not explosive? What team are you watching? This is the most explosive team we've had since 2020, and they were aided by a weird year.
We have to make hay this year because we aren't going to be able to replace Higgins and Noel. That's one of the best duos in ISU history.
Unsure if mentioned already, but in case he has to shut it down I believe he can still preserve his redshirt at leastPretty sure practice is rarely if ever full on tackling especially this far into the season and 1/2s face scout teams, not one another.
Since the offense doesn't have the injury bug I'm chalking it up to bad luck. Like Orange's injury was a weird pile up.
Benzina (SP?) looked like something tweaked when he was in pursuit without contact.
