I think competitive endurance may have been bigger than physical endurance.
Atmosphere was A++ last night. Also upped their game for in between plays and time outs with the various movie clips. Hope the 3rd down, anchorman can I have your attention, loud noises clip is here to stay!
After 5 games the team is what it is. They aren't an explosive team. They take some time to get momentum. But once it gets going down hill they are hard to stop.
No game is a win and no game is a loss until they're played. One thing I really like about this team is the resilience. If we get down on the scoreboard or a player goes down, we just keep playing
I think they're capable of closing out some of these earlier drives but are definitely one that takes some time to really establish things.
Give me a stronger, dominant 2nd half any day of the week.

Was at the game. I have always wished for ISU to be a more physical team.
Well ISU beat the **** out of the Bears and it started with our ball carriers. By the middle of the 3rd Quarter, their secondary wanted absolutely nothing to do with tackling us. I think Jackson even trucked somebody. It was glorious.
Hope the guy is alright but one of their DBs got lit up (I think by Higgins) and didn't know which century he was in. He got up heading over to our sidelines.
I can see why our guys are dinged up if they are playing this way in practice.
They were flat because we stomped on them.
Pretty sure practice is rarely if ever full on tackling especially this far into the season and 1/2s face scout teams, not one another.
Since the offense doesn't have the injury bug I'm chalking it up to bad luck. Like Orange's injury was a weird pile up.
Benzina (SP?) looked like something tweaked when he was in pursuit without contact.

Much like the basketball program. ISU is blessed to have some great coaching staffs across all sports.
