I was part of one of the last times we were able to tear down the goal posts - 1997 Baylor game.

Had to check because I thought ISU went defeated that year but yep, there it is, beating Baylor in late October.

THAT's why field rush.

People always talkin' bout the "culture change" at Iowa State under Campbell.
I say the culture change is when Clone fans stop storming the field after a win.
I know it's fun. But we were only a 4.5 point underdog by the guys willing to risk money on this game.

You should go tell that to Clemson after they play in another National Title game.

As I just got done saying, my first year at ISU was 1997, right smack dab in the middle of the nation's longest losing streak. We tore down the goal posts against Baylor.

I had just moved back and followed hoops more than FB, I didn't understand why we stormed I didn't realize how bad we were. I was early 80's so we were ok but not good, you could still remember the 70's bowls. Just let everyone enjoy the good times.

I did not read the entire 52 pages, but I am very proud of the way CMC and his staff have our team playing and how they have them bought into all the offseason work it takes to be this good.

I also believe when a team like WVU doesn't really play anyone good, then has to go on the road to a packed stadium of a good team, well, we saw the results.

I hope our offense keeps playing well and I hope our defense keeps playing fantastic. What a game. Montgomery is a beast.

The craziest part of this win was that this has got to be one of the most penalized games we’ve had under Campbell football. Pretty sure we’ve been one of the best in least penalties each of the last two years but we were just constantly shooting our selves in the foot.

The good and bad of it is that ISU can still improve a great deal.

And they're going to need to. Teams like Baylor and Tech are gaining traction.

I really questioned ISU taking a shot on that 3rd and 2 at the 40 on the play Buttler got called for offensive PI. Figured they would just run twice. Guess everything turned out in the end.
We just dominate a top 5 team and this is what you post???? Take a deep breath and enjoy!! Just kidding, have fun.
