Hey Mouse!!! We have this guy named Carsen Hansen, he gets 5 yards a carry and scores TDs. How about not taking him out of the game for a quarter at at time.

It's really not that hard!!
Hey coach Campbell, how about you stop promoting people who aren’t ready and go out and hire a qualified coordinator and let them do their job without interference?

I assume you’ve looked at our budget and football salaries compared to other teams, right? I suppose we could try to turn coaching over to AI though. Would at least be an interesting experiment for a tech school…

We are watching the coaching blunders in real time. We’re even having those blunders called out by announcers in prime time. It’s frickin’ embarrassing, and I’m tired of seeing NIL-dependent players held to a higher standard than our salaried coach.

Have you heard anything about why they seem to be going away from him, injury etc. granted we were way down tonight and behind the chains a lot.

If he is healthy enough to abuse KU on the first drive then he is healthy enough to keep abusing them.

We got behind the chains because after that first series we decided we wanted to be an Air Raid team and not feed the work horse.

I don’t know, everyone else says we should pass almost every first down.

Yes, I agree with that. We have not historically prioritized winning…and the budget showed that.

Which is a large part of why you can't really compare to prior eras.

In many ways campbell's era has been probably the era with the most opportunity for someone to succeed. Between teams leaving the conference or teams that used to be much more daunting falling back down to more beatable levels, and Campbell arriving right as we finally had major facilities upgrades that gave us a proper power conference home environment that we hadn't really had.

I mean this sincerely then yeah, you wouldn’t be upset. I haven’t expected what I saw tonight since late stage Paul Rhoads.
I get that, but we're sending kittens in against wildcats. At some point reality needs to set in. It clearly hasn't with many people here.

Sorry - not understanding your 3rd sentence. Do you have an example of someone being inappropriately held accountable for something? Or do you just not like that the players are accountable for the plays they do or don’t make? I’m not disagreeing that there have been some coaching errors…said that already. But expecting zero mistakes is unreasonable…and our budget is not great compared to other programs.

Is the play clock long enough to conduct a CF poll before every play to find out what the correct thing to do is?

With a line who can’t block a base 4 on pass rush. Solid plan by ISU. Also, with all we’ve seen, take Hansen out to run a sweep with Sama, WTF. Sama had a good night running up the gut, then decided we needed to spread their D out with our Stellar OLine.

Depending on the sources I can find, our AD budget is in the top half of the conference, and CMC salary is right in the middle of the pack.

In the new B12, we are no longer a distant also ran. We are very much in the same weight class as any other school in this league. The ceiling is higher now than it has been at any point in our history.
