Repay moving expenses?

Hell, the guy has only been in town long enough to have a hotel room for 2 nights. LOL!

Not only referring to him, but any assistant. They get 7,500 for moving.

if they leave within first 3 months they repay: 100%
3-6 months: 75%
6-9 months: 50%
9-12 months: 25%
Nothing after 12 months.

Toledo will not be able to compete for recruits with us based on P5 Conference and facilities. Location may be better for some guys or maybe they want to play MAC football not Big 12 football. Big 12 is a much tougher proposition getting on the field. in both those cases they won't commit to us in the first place.

Campbell comes from the Mt Union Coaching Tree so he is going to have a lot of people to reach out to. His focus at this point prior to dead period will be to recruit and retain. After that he can round out his staff, but there is no reason to think that he will not be able to interview and find good coaches.

Candle was retained, good for him. Why would he turn down a HC job? I don't think this reflects on Matt at all honestly.

Damn, this plan worked out nicely. We infiltrated Candle as a double-agent deep mole and mission accomplished -- Campbell fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Now we have your list of recruits and Candle will make them all Toledo recruits, at least the ones we want. Damn, that Army career spent in the Special Operations community has finally paid off. O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!

Which of our recruits do they want? Our class is ranked like #92 and theirs is rated much better.

Really bizarre they name their DC interim HC then 3 days later announce their OC is the permanent coach.

Let the Rocket have his fun. They have had a really rough week. He deserves the chance to blow off a little steam.

That is true, thanks. It's a proce$$, both for Campbell and Candle - two very wealthy Mt Union boys it would appear...

Way up there
Wonder how Candle feels about CMC poaching his recruits or what impact Candle returning will have on the guys we've offered.

What a disaster. This is all on campbell if true, this is a business, you don't let your dinky college buddies into the inner circle and recruitment process until they sign a freakin contract. I'm over Campbell bringing over his entire staff at this point--be a professional--this isn't a frat house.

comedy gold.

Minus his recruiting capabilities this is excellent. I read repeatedly on Twitter and Toledo message boards he is a terrible play caller. They can be running for 10 yards a carry but they stop running the ball and become pass happy. We had enough of that with Mangino.

Who really knows anymore....

BTW had heard terrific things just this week from some big coaches about new #Toledo head coach Jason Candle. He had good options.

Fans of how many schools are unhappy with their OC? I'd say 95%.

Cande's popularity rating on the Toledo forums seems to be about 50%. Pretty good for an OC.

I don't think he was ever officially named as a coach was he, which is why I consider this extremely amateur. You don't let one of your buddies open the kimono in your new job until they sign on the line that is dotted.

If he did sign a contract and is breaking it, I'll apologize and that is a different story.

So him signing a contract would have prevented him from leaving anyway? Like how Matt Campbell's contract prevented him from leaving Toledo? Think before you post next time.

I had never heard this phrase until last week, and now I've heard it twice in less than three days. Is this a new term? And do we consider it sexist, racist, or both?
