Probably a damper in Campbell's plan, but there's nothing wrong with looking for an outside OC, either. Or, promoting one of his current guys and finding another position coach.
Interesting, especially since the Mitchell Moore tweet shows Candle in the ISU War Room (according to Nick Piotrowicz at the Blade)

Doubt it would help. He can use the Toledo job to move on to a P5 job like Campbell did.
Eh, can't blame the guy for taking a job on the table (OC) if Toledo hadn't offered yet. We don't know those details or timelines other than some speculation. I don't know Toledo's depth or who will be graduating but seems like he'll have another competitive MAC team and won't have the need to implement a brand new system.

The crazy thing is this guy is in Ames, now recruiting his old Toledo recruits to ISU. So he calls them all, "Just playin' fam!" Come to to Toledo again. Please?
if he has any ambition at all, he's not turning down a chance to be a head coach at a fairly successful program. Some coaches would rather be coordinators but those are few.
What a disaster. This is all on campbell if true, this is a business, you don't let your dinky college buddies into the inner circle and recruitment process until they sign a freakin contract. I'm over Campbell bringing over his entire staff at this point--be a professional--this isn't a frat house.
