when I was astudent we could sit on the 50yd line. The entire east side of Clyd Wms was studenseating, first come first serve. I think I would have lost interest if moved to the end zones. My Bakerhouse crowd sat on the top row, 50 ydline. We could turn around and p** into thewindows of Helser.
Will have to show we can sustàin excellence thru coaching changes or be able to convince kid CMC is going to be there forever. Also need to be able to survive about 20 degrees of climate warming.
I knew several of the Dirty Thirty. Linemen, most played both ways, were 225-35. LBs were around 180. They would have been comparable to a 3A high school team today.
Hard to have an opinion before spring practice. Not sure what it will be like without Lanning and Lazard. I could see us struggling to get 6, or cruising to 8. Coach will have a hard time matching this team's "can-do" attitude.
Isn't DesMoines one of the faster growing cities? I could see us easily needing 65+K in the next 5 or 10 years if we achieve CMC's goals and continue to expand our fan base.
Anyone else watch the Toledo game last night on ESPN? I was thinking that the combo they were wearing would look great. CMC must have seen it and had the same impression. They were in white helmets, maze with blue trim on the jerseys and white pants. Looked great!
Good G-- people! Our coach has been here less than a year. He's playing with a team made up of the result of at least four years of subpar recruiting. Campos is the only O-line that has been recruited in recent years that is true B12 quality. and he's on the bench. You expected a white night...
I was told several times in my working years that "your ME degree from Iowa State is all we need to see". Don't know how it is now, but ISU was very highly regarded in the working world. Not so much so amount the academics, but who cares about them.
