Notches in his gun? What kind of girls was he after? I always avoided girls with braces for this very reason.
When I look at the list my biggest take away is that for the most part, the teams with the highest number of offers have to work a lot harder to get their guys. I also think that this staff is using offers to simply feel out interest. I think it's pretty safe to say that this staff knows exactly what they are doing on the recruiting trail and they have a system in place to prioritize/keep track of the kids they think they have a good shot with.
Since the results thus far have been the two highest rated classes in ISU history I'd say "keep on truckin" !!!
Heck, I can't keep track of one spouse, two kids, three cats, and a German Shepherd pup..

If he would have gotten a German Shorthair instead of a German Shepard he would not have to keep track of the cats. My Shorthair has quite a few cat notches.
I actually don't hate cats. I think kittens are a lot of fun. I just had bad luck with the two I had growing up. One died young and the other was an A-hole after he got neutered.

Cats are really hit or miss. Best cats are kittens from a farm. They will have great genetic variance and usually have been introduced to other animals and stimuli that make for a really fun and out going feline.

I really don't see anything wrong with it, especially when a lot of these kids are those who typically wouldn't sniff at Iowa State. It isn't like we're offering 100 kids from small towns here in Iowa, we're offering high quality **** that probably won't come here anyway but if they do, hey, works for us

They care because KF and his staff have had the luxury of slow playing their offers to in state and mid west kids and evaluate the hell out of under the radar types.
