Both Lard and Wigg are still working their way back to form, we still have a higher ceiling than the other conference teams. Just imagining Wigg playing like he did vs WVU with Lard getting back to form. Lard also seems to have a short jumper going this year which I don't remember him shooting last year.

Imagine if Shayok and Wiggs being even just a little better than today...it's what then a 15 point over an ascending Texas squad that's ISU's kryptonite (tempo and size)?

Scary if it all coming together becomes the norm.

I’d say the two games before this were back to back games where it all came together. We had a lot of turnovers against Ole Miss, but I would say a lot of that was became we were playing at a blistering pace and less from sloppiness. Just had a rough offensive game by almost all of our players today, but still came out with a W.

If Cam can avoid the fouls he's going to be hard to take out of the game for Jacobson.

It will depend on the matchup I think. Jacobson is a liability as a rim protector, but seems to be a very strong rebounder. He's maybe a little more dependable for some mid-range jumpers here and there as well.

Get sayock out of there

You and everyone who agreed with this should face consequences.

In the 1st half we were v good on offense just didn't hit shots. 2nd half we seemed to force some shots against their zone but overall that's just an abnormally poor shooting night. This team won't miss that many lay ups/dunks 9/10 days.

I will say, I wanted more Tyrese in the second half. Feel like at this point it's inarguable he leads to great offense even if he isn't scoring. Not to mention his length is a plus plus on D.

I’ve been really impressed with THT the last several games. Really hard to take him off the floor. He brings so much at both ends of the court. He really did an awesome job on Osetkowski. Given what he did to us last year that was huge

Testifying
"I was pissed after Lard got caught celebrating after his outlet and Texas hit a 3."
The camera didn't show a good angle, but he was back on defense with one Texas player at the 3 point line. Lard turned his back to look at the students and realized too late there was an open Texas shooter.
Did you watch the game?

1. Lard threw a nice outlet pass that led to a quick ISU basket.

2. Texas threw it right back down to the sideline.

3. Lard, the one defender back, is posing and yelling when the shooter caught the ball for the shot.

That would mean he got caught celebrating instead of being ready in case you know, Texas went for a quick 3.
IIRC correctly Cam had a huge block that let to a fast transition for ISU. Cam was jacked up about the block and then was behind in getting up the court on offense. We scored, Texas inbounded quickly and Cam was at half, backpedaled quickly, tried to stop it, and Texas sank a 3.
