Yep and it's crazy they've been that good lately.

Michigan State was 8/22 last night from the line.

Apparently bad nights happen.

Sparty was worse from the free throw line Saturday than we were from three point range. Our 38% > their 36%. Throw in opening misses on one-n-ones and they lost a LOT of points. Cost them the game.

It was a little thing but on Wigginton's 4 point play, prior the ball being across half court, Haliburton was directing him to run to the opposite side to the spot he hit the shot. Maybe LW ends up switching sides eventually and getting ope but Tyrese saw it 5 seconds before anyone else. Just one example of the impact he has, even if the ball isn't in his hands.
The ball seems to move so much better and everyone is more active when he is in the game

And AT HOME, to a bad team on a 7 game losing streak. With a likely HOF coach.

At least Texas has been decent lately.

Tyrese definitely plays with purpose. You can tell his movements on the drive and on the break are done to set up his teammates by drawing the defense in a desired direction.

He needs to be more aggressive scoring though, he passes up way to many shots. He gets in the lane with ease and instead of taking the easy layup passes to someone else.

You think Talley is going to get a bucket if ISU needs it?

It wasn't about padding stats. That notion is absurd.

The bucket had a lid on it yesterday which all players experience. If just a couple shots go down for him like normal it's an easy win.

And who hit the big shot and sealed the game with free throws?
Someone els is in and makes a One or two point blank layups you don’t even need a shot to seal the deal. Why wouldn’t I think Talley is good enough to get a bucket if it’s needed? Just curious if you were cool with people crying to get Wigginton out of the game as well? Shayok played the most shot the most and wasn’t productive. It was just a bad game but I really don’t think he should be the one guy who can’t leave the court when nothing is going his way.

For a brief moment I was worried you wouldn't walk right into my jab.

I'll attribute you seeing this as a way to jab at the staff to your insecurities about them, and not that you're a one-move out kind of guy.

It’s like there’s the truth, and then there’s your agenda.

Heard from Pop yet. His team is 8 games over .500, he will need your genius to beat the warriors

Agree with this. I do think he will look for his shot more next year. Right now he seems to defer to Nick, Shayok, and others. His selfless play is contagious though.

I don’t disagree that there are moments here or there where he passes up an open shot, but I don’t think Tyrese being more aggressive offensively is what is best for this team. I think he is playing almost perfectly right now. Tyrese driving and using his exceptional vision and passing ability to get our best scorers going is what really gets this team rolling.

My problem is when he passes up a wide open 3 or when he gets in the lane for an easy layup/floater he's passing them up and some of them the shot he's passing up is easier than the shot he's passing to.

To be fair Lindell is doing this to and it's driving me nuts.

I don't think it's being insecure for calling out a stupid comment like this staff at times is playing checkers when the opposing coach is playing chess. Yes, every game one side gets out coached. Your comment insinuates that they have been incompetent at times. Would love to hear which games were they so thoroughly outclassed and what should they have done differently that was clear at the time without the benefit of hindsight?
