Would this be considered pathetic?

So, I've got a die-hard basketball fan friend that othen goes out and watches ISU games with me (he's a Hoosier fan, but loves Hoiberg from his time with the Pacers) but he's out of town this week. It's my understanding that the Iowa State alumni group were not doing a game watch for this game in Indianapolis. So, if I went to the bar, on my own, on a Saturday night, and ordered a bucket of beer and watched the game, would it be pathetic?

Hell no! Get some wings, and I would say that you are going to have a great time (Especially if ISU wins).

No. I find it more pathetic that the local alumni group isn't doing a game watch for one of the biggest games of the season, assuming they've done game watches for other games. I just hope there's a good-size, active alumni group wherever I end up taking a full-time job.

If they don't do game watches at all...tell them to get their act together

I don't think the Minneapolis NCC is doing anything either.

I met the Indy group when I was in town on business during the Texas Tech football game. There are only a few of them, but great people.

FWIW, I don't think Philly is doing anything either. Never have for BB.
