At least half the people standing in the concourse are from the parquet which is moving them further from the court. Also, the people standing there aren't exactly cheering or making much noise.

Exactly. These people aren't going up/down there to go crazy and jump around. They stood there in their coats for 20 minutes watching the hackfest in silence. I'm usually ok with a few people/families getting a jump on traffic but it was pathetic last night at both the under 8 and the under 4 timeouts the amount of people leaving.

I just felt bad for the guys. I could maybe see their act being funny in a different setting. Just wasn't the right place for what they were trying to do.

They were on Americas got Talent. They were pretty good on that show, but I have no idea about last night
Agreed. I was actually excited when they went out on the court because I liked them on America's Got Talent but then that happened.

And what exactly were they trying to do?
Not sure if it's been said yet, but basically their goal was to make a paintball disappear. And the act took about 15 minutes. And the paintball ended up in the other guys' mouth after the other guy shot it through a frisbee type thing. That's honestly the best way I can explain it.

It was just an odd 'trick' and would've been pretty lame even if they hadn't talked about 'getting off' every other sentence and everything else would've gone correctly. Students started booing them right away after they randomly made everybody stand up in the beginning. Still not sure what the point of that was.

What all did they do? Also, I guess JP likes AGT, first Olate Dogs and now David and Leeman
On the show? They had some solid acts and had good jokes unlike last night. They were witty and their acts flowed really nicely. Last night's was slow and painful.

I think Quick Change got their start on AGT also, didn't they?

There have been Quick Change acts around for a very long time so I'm not sure its exactly the same "Quick Change"
THought I had a great view of them looking down in the curtain thing they had from the rafters of Hilton but I still couldn't pick out how it was working

I'm guessing the halftime show was similar to the first 10 seconds of this clip, over and over again?

thank you! no one else in this thread has described, at all, what they were trying to do.

My daughter was there with her friend (I was out sick) and she thought they were hypnotists. If the audience can't even tell what you are trying to do, they you're doing it wrong.

And the frisbee dogs - I generally like that act, but this year, they were only about 50% on catches. My son & I were kind of sad on their behalf. I heard that the dogs were spending too much time on twitter and weren't focused enough.
