Worst halftime show ever

Yup.

That must be a catch-phrase for them. Once (maybe twice for emphasis) is funny in some venues. 15 to 20 reps just got creepy.

Probably because they were awful at doing what they were trying to do. Most people stopped paying attention after the first couple minutes.

Call me old fashioned but we need some like Ed to get the crowd fired up, not the dog and pony shows to entertain us. Went to a game last year and the acrobats were on. Some old lady ******* that I was standing up and talking BB and she couldn't see them. It's a freaking basketball game, not a circus. It is a break so that you can yell and scream and cheer for the second half.:realmad:

In her defense, you probably could have moved a little to the side, or gone up to the concourse to stretch your legs - especially if you're a young guy and she's older and may need to sit more. Some folks do actually enjoy the halftime entertainment. Granted, maybe not this one...but yeah, some of them are pretty good.

Let's just say they used the phrases "We want to get off" "I want to get off" "Do you all want to get off?" and other variants of the phrase multiple times. Very uncomfortable...

One mike worked pretty well, but every time the other guy turned up his mike we got feedback squeal.

I think that high pitched squeal was his voice.

But at the last time out, we had a really strong "Cyclone" "Power" chant going, and it was still building...and the band director decided to play Cyclone Aerobics right in the middle. Totally killed the moment, and not very many joined in with the band. He should have just left it alone and let the chant build.

The band director for last nights game was not the normal director. Not sure who he was or if that had any bearing on the song choice you're speaking of.

IMO, the best half time act is always the ISU drum line type group that does the woop woop faster song.

I do give ISU props for having the men's choir do the National Anthem, that was great.
