T2 was the best action movie of all time and one of the few sequals better than the original. T3 was great, but nothing like T2.

Is this the movie where, after the world has been saved from evil robots, the Terminator sets up a new government and names himself Governor?

Bale is PERFECT for John Connor when he is a middle aged man.

Looks promising. Christian Bale is a good choice for JC. It will be interesting to see how they treat this franchise now that Arnold is governating and not in the movies anymore.

I'm skeptical about a Terminator movie without Arnold. Even T3 had Arnold and I didn't think it was that great. (It wasn't terrible, but T2 set the bar pretty high.)

I realize it's becoming near impossible to do one with him, what with the whole being governor of California thing. That, and he's an old dude who would be playing a robot that presumably doesn't age. He already looked pretty old in T3. So I think they ought to just leave the franchise alone.

But what do I know? Maybe this movie will rock. Having Christian Bale on board can't hurt.

Four Terminator movies. Four different actors playing John Connor.

Terminator 4: Christian Bales
Terminator 3: Nick Stahl
Terminator 2: Edward Furlong
Terminator: Linda Hamilton's uterus

T2 is still the best action movie I've ever seen. People forget it was 1991 and still had awesome effects.

T3 was good, but too heavy on action and too light on plot.
