Testifying
The minute or two he played against KState, he looked waaaaay lost on defense.

I don't think that 1-minute stints are adequate data sets for us but it's clear that Prohm thinks that there are better players ahead of him. He's a good player and would've been a 6th or 7th man on plenty of ISU teams in the past but Coach Prohm doesn't go very deep in his rotation. and we have a lot of options this year.

I like his defense and he did a great job against full-court pressure last year. But his lack of an outside shot limits him on offense.

Might. I have great respect for Coach Prohm, who undoubtedly know 1000 times more about basketball and this team than I do, but I really wish we had given our bench more run early in the year.
I definitely wouldn't mind seeing some minutes here and there for Talley and especially Conditt, but not sure how much more run our bench could have been given early in the year? They played a ton when we had guys out, but the bench is shorter now going against a very tough league schedule.

Gawd I expect to get ripped for this ...
I was thinking earlier, what about NWB, MS, TH, and LW sharing the minutes of 3 spots and THT and ZT sharing the minutes at the 4, and MJ & CL splitting to 5? Of course there would be times for Shayok at 4 and GC taking post minutes. THT isn't really tearing it up from outside (with a couple of exceptions), but his defense and rebounding are needed. Talley actually does these two things, or did last year anyway.

OK, with consensus permission, I'll share this with CSP.
