I believe it's seated capacity. I thought that was the point.

Press release said "capacity" will exceed 61,000. Didn't say "seated" capacity.

How is our "capacity" listed now? Is it at the approximately 45,000 "seats" we have?

And if you add in the 7,500 Lower Bowl Capacity plus the 5,800 Upper Bowl Capacity that equals 13,300 seats added. Then subtract the previous End Zone Seats. (And Hillsides on the South)

So it sounds like it is total SRO Capacity IMO. No way we get to 61,000 without the hillsides on the north.

I realize you're not an ISU fan, but come on, if you really are located in Ames, do you live under a rock?
1) Did you not hear about the $25 million gift to ISU from the Reiman's, meant specifically for a new SEZ?
2) Groundbreaking starts this summer.
3) Not exactly a "little" project, but it will be finished by the start of the 2015 football season.

I agree. I would not give up my midfield seats for an end zone view - lounge or not.

We we have loved our endzone seats, especially with the jumbotron. It will hurt to give them up.

I'd bet that a bunch of the endzone club seats will go to corporate customers, similar to the suites on the west side. And I'd also bet that Pollard knows how much unmet demand he has for the current Trice Club on the east side and factored that into the equation as well. There's no way he just said "I dunno, let's make it 3000 tickets I guess." If we know anything, it's that Pollard is a man with a plan.

I think the endzone club will sell decently well. Im sure the AD has done their market analysis and it wouldnt surprise me if they found that there's a segment not being served between the expensive sideline club\suites and what normal seats would charge.

And fwiw, i know some that have sideline seats that have already talked about considering seats in the SEZ.

If nothing else, its 3k more seats that might end up in scalpers hands when it gets cold at the end of the season. For games like the KU game i'd be trying to find single game tix in there.

On the other hand one could consider sections one or two. It's a lot closer to the north parking lot. Just leave the heater running.

Probably right. Pollard does his homework and has been pretty successful in recent years at selling football tickets.

The Price point for the End Zone Club is $750 per season ticket......that is 1/2 the price of the Jack Trice Club. Plus the donation level is far less in all likelihood as well. With restrooms solely for End Zone Club ticket holders and the lounge as well. Also, we don't know what the demand has been for the sideline season ticket holders. We do know that it requires an ever increasing donation to get on the paved lots. At least $500 level and lots of longevity points to be on the paved lots now.

I would expect the majority of those sitting in the present end zone bleachers to move to the similar priced seating on the new wedge area seats not in the End Zone Club. I also expect that some sideline season ticket holders will opt for the End Zone Club as well. I expect that some on the Hillside seats move up to reserved seating in the wedge areas of South End Zone. The ones that will get hit the hardest will be families that buy hillside tickets and have their kids as members of the Lil' Cyclone Club. North Hillside will be very crowded IMO.

The good thing is that with this year's schedule they probably won't be needed that much, especially after Nov 1

We all know that it means that the Bathrooms in the End Zone Club area are ONLY for End Zone Club members. Not open to the common people.
