Curtis Jones looks like a mid major caliber player. He should not have the green light. He’s one of those guys who will get hot for one game and be complete dog **** the next 5-6 games.

Yes, we are. It's predicated on forcing the other team to become jump shooters. If they're hot from three though, we're going to look bad. I expect us to adjust a bit to that, but there will almost always be three opportunities. Just need to make sure they're contested.

I feel like we lack intensity in the meltdown, myself. I've seen better.
Last game Va Tech shot 7-18 from 3 for the ENTIRE game. Tonight they are 8-18 at the half.
VCU exploited this last night, but there is a slight flaw to how we are defending right now, and we are not executing it as efficiently as we need to. We overcrowd one side and tend to leave a free runner on the opposing outside. They are able to take a rhythm three.
That is the early scouting report and that is what teams are attacking. They are getting a little lucky with some of these and our rebounding needs to be better but we need to be better about closing out and recovering.
If we somehow close this out and get FAU tomorrow, they shoot an average of 30 3s a game ended today they went 16-30 from three against Texas A&am lol
We will adjust and get better at this as the year goes on, but it can be frustrating for sure.

They aren’t really that hot though - it’s almost what they shoot every game. They have two guys who shoot 46% and 44% from 3. And they are shooting 44% right now. We need to adjust our permitter defense otherwise, it’s more than likely they continue to hit those 3s.
