Okay...there is truth in this statement!!!! I love a solid BS paper for entertainment purposes only! I had students write a paper regarding sleep and cognitive functioning and I got some pretty hilarious papers about Freud/Dreams.
My favorite student ever inserted curse words into her paper to see if I would catch them. I had to give this student a bump from an A to an A+ for shear creativity alone.
While skimming thru this thread, I initially thought '730' was the course number for the ChemE final on Monday!
And on a separate thread topic, I too have had some sort of missing class/finals dream. My dream starts with me just skipping class with intentions of taking the exams and final, but then by skipping so many classes, I forget that I'm actually enrolled in the class and never do take any of the exams.

I said it last semester and I'll say it again. If you are taking a class and CycloneErik is doing your grading, just write about the history of jimlad and he will automatically give you an A.
I actually did sleep through a final once, in the fall semester of my freshman year. I couldn't believe it. I went straight to the professor's office when I woke up and she couldn't have been more helpful. She told me about a friend of hers from undergrad, in the architecture program (five years), who slept through a final in his 10th semester - his last-ever finals week.
The professor had no mercy on him, saying he couldn't make it up. The grading system was such that a 0 on the final would have failed anyone, regardless of their grade entering the exam, so he failed the class and could not graduate. Rather than coming back to take the class again, he dropped out of school and never got his degree. Luckily she felt like this was the wrong way to go! I ended up with an A in the course after all.
ENG 250 Monday - Complete, hated my teacher
BUSAD 250 Monday - Complete, did the 60second challenge because I was happy with my grade (A-)
ECON 102 Tuesday - It was the online version so its **** easy...
MIS 207 Thursday - I have to get a 68% on the final to maintain my A... I can get a 24% to get an A-
MIS 330 Friday - I have no idea about this one. I've done well on 1 test but not so hot on the other. Hoping he curves the whole clas
STAT 226 Friday - Been preparing my anus for this one since Test #2
BUSAD 250 Monday - Complete, did the 60second challenge because I was happy with my grade (A-)

I literally do not think I've gotten more than 3 problems 100% correct on the previous tests. I don't even know if it's worth studying for anymore.
Even if you guess the correct answer, you still have to show "proper calculations" to get credit...
Unfortunately the University computer polls do not take SOS into account. Sometimes the human-side of the polls works in your favor, though. As a result, students with a "Big 12" schedule can have a difficult time reaching the post-season. You need a Big East or MAC schedule like on the east side of campus.
To round-out the analogy...I guess "C's get degrees" would amount to being an unranked conference champion.
Took my acct test today and looked at my score on blackboard. Almost freaked out when I saw it, but luckily the professor emailed us pretty quickly that they graded them incorrectly (switched answer key). :twitcy:
