First thing that came to mind when I saw the matchup was we now will have to play them 3 maybe 4 times this season if we see them in KC too.I can hear it now in March - "It's really hard to beat a team 4 times in a season"

I sure hope you are right.I can hear it now in March - "It's really hard to beat a team 4 times in a season"
This is so stupid. Just another interconference game that hurts the Big 12 as a whole. Just cancel this game. It doesn't benefit anyone.
I sure hope you are right.
That would be fantastic, but ISU has never done well at altitude, and this style of play is going to be hard to keep up when we're sucking wind in the thin air.
Different coaches coach differently. I don’t really know what to expect going back to playing teams at altitude but comparing teams from 15+ years ago is pointless.I'm guessing your isu history doesn't go back very far. There were 40 years of playing at altitude before tj got here.
That isn't creative that's a long history of isu teams struggling with going to Boulder. Didn't matter who the coach was.
I hope you are right. Maybe conditioning will be the difference, but you can't train for altitude in iowa.
The betting public perception is CU isn't a good team apparently. Kind of like NCAA tourney, a lesser team can pull an upset, and then fall on their face in the next game.Line is ISU -12. Based on what I’ve seen in Maui, that seems high. ISU has looked good, but CU isn’t a bad team.
Typically I would agree with trying to reference things from way in the past, but Iowa State literally did struggle @ Colorado for decades. All coaches. All players. They all struggled in Boulder. We rarely won there.Different coaches coach differently. I don’t really know what to expect going back to playing teams at altitude but comparing teams from 15+ years ago is pointless.
Could (very unlikely) end up playing them FIVE times this year. Was wanting UConn. Already play Colorado twice this year.
They didn't look good against MSU.Line is ISU -12. Based on what I’ve seen in Maui, that seems high. ISU has looked good, but CU isn’t a bad team.
