Tired as **** so I don't have a lot to say. **** is this team fun to watch though. It is so, so, so very cool to feel like we're being coached above our level. Not that our guys aren't good, but they're so much better than they should be and you can see that in Tre, Grill, and Conditt. Coaching that catches on quick and elevates players will ensure we're hanging around for a very long time.

The ball movement and unselfishness are so impressive! Wow! So much fun to watch and so exciting to think about what's ahead!

I just can’t believe how strong this team already is playing team basketball on both ends of the floor. I always thought there were some great individual parts, but never thought they would mesh this well so early. Still keeping my expectations grounded, but man, what a great start to the TJ era.

This has been fun but let's keep our expectations tempered. These guys have played with house money so far. They might sneak into the top 25 after this week and we could see the dynamic change a bit. Target is on their backs a bit now and regression to the mean is a real thing. Just a little perspective for you all. Good night Cyclone nation

This team has a mental toughness that reminds me of Floyd/Eustachy teams. And the Kane/Ejim team. Not sure if they are as talented, but I think they may have that badass mentality that those other teams had. I think they may be for real. We'll see.

Watching Memphis this is the drawback of getting a bunch of 5-star talent. They all think the world is theirs and they don’t know what it means to play team ball or when someone finally punches back how to deal with it. They are folding hard and they are getting mouthy with the refs and each other.
Texas just told Memphis "Welcome to our world."

The best part about this weekend is Xavier and Memphis will both be huge resume building wins later in the year. I think both of those teams will be in the top 2 or 3 in their conferences and definitely tourney caliber teams.
And the fact that both of these wins were on a neutral court adds even more to the resume.

Going into this tournament, how many of you would have taken 1 and 1 record? Raise your hands please. Okay, you can all put your hands down now. :)

He's a potential Nader.
Nader is a great example. Going back a little (lot) further, how about another, Don Smith/Zaid Abdul-Aziz?

A little far fetched? Maybe. Tristan Enaruna will not be asked to score as much as Smith but he has the 'potential' to be Nader or even Smith-like. He even looks a bit like both of them.
