Annual spring meetings regarding CFP starts this week and I **** you not they are discussing if TV ratings should be a metric in deciding who makes the playoff.

Mike Patrick, longtime ESPN broadcaster, dies
Mike Patrick, who spent 36 years as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN and was the network's first NFL voice for "Sunday Night Football," has died at age 80.

@ChrisMWilliams will be stoked to learn that the timing of Rose Bowl sunset is now all out of whack due to kickoff being an hour earlier than usual.
Will be nice especially for the Eastern Time folks that the Sugar Bowl won't end so late now.
Give it a year or two and the commercials and timeouts will have the sunset right back in its natural end of 3rd/start of the 4th quarter.
Ps: the sunset at Rose Bowl does hit different. Don’t let the haters say otherwise.
