Houston is outstanding. I don't think anybody is taking anything from them. Still can't shoot 20 percent from 3 and expect to beat them.
Again I think perhaps Houston has a little something to do with that. Now let’s see what happens as we didn’t shoot it well at OU, will concede that. But tonight it is what it is as we only had a handful of open looks from out there. Need to make them yes but will not judge any team offensively against that defense.

Pulled that one out. Rough at times. Houston is a good team but man do they get away with fouls.
We had 11 fouls (our players); they got called for 19.

I'll have to watch the game (radio only for me tonight) but it did sound like (John and Eric, they are usually pretty fair but do wear cyclone colored glasses) there may have been quite a few more uncalled fouls that Houston got away with.

Filled up a bit once the game started. It was absolutely dead in there 5 minutes before tip. Crowd was loud for being so small once the game got going. The great start really helped

Not surprising it was a late-arriving crowd. A lot of people probably waited to make the call as to whether they were going until the last possible moment.

TJ said on post game that is specifically Milan’s spot on that side. I’d have guessed that but interesting to hear him be that definitive.

If there is a game this season with more effort, extended defense, dudes covering tons of ground doubling and getting back, I won’t believe it.

Gilbert and Tamin were BRINGING it. Rob and Ward were awesome doubling out on the perimeter.

Rob and Ward is a very serviceable 2-headed 5.

Future opponents may want to block Hasan out when he shoots FTs.

Who posted during or after OU that Tre shouldn't play?

Curtis Jones is so valuable off the bench. I'll bet he has 20 pts in a future win.

I like those sideline out of bounds alley opps!

Houston guards got some, but Tamin, Gilbert anf CJones made them work for everything.

Great coaching! Loved coming out in a zone for 10 seconds (even though UH scored on that possession). It will come in handy this season.

Watson and Pav provide valuable minutes. This wasn't the best opponent for Pav.

I'll enjoy Milan while he's here, hopefully 2 years. His game is just so mature. That game-winner is legend.

Good win. Thought we were going to blow it but the guys never gave up.

Completely perplexed by Otz's choice to take Ward, the most impactful player on the floor for us, out of the game the last few minutes. Just a terrible decision, especially having both Jones and King on the floor at the same time.
Ward had nice stats, but I don't think he was the most impactful player on the floor. I believe a lot of the reason he had 4 fouls, for instance, was because he was contesting and fouling guys at the rim, whereas Jones is much better at rotating to keep guys from getting to the rim in the first place.
