Will be interesting to see how the Cubs offense does the next 2 games. First tonight against the Brewers new young prospect that has some nasty stuff and then against Peralta who has a 2.60 era this season and has had the Cubs number of late.

My mind may be messing with me but it seems like Seya has had a few games recently where he looked bad the first couple at bats then crushes usually at the top of the zone.

The young kid has great stuff but I believe that they will be try to drive his pitch count up and work some walks. It looks like wind will be back to blowing in the next two days.

Kelly should bat 9th.
9th is more about who you are in front of. Eventually I hope it’s Hoerner. If Shaw continues to hit like he has being recalled I’d like to see something like.

Happ
Tucker
Suzuki
PCA
Busch
Shaw
Swanson
Kelly/ Amaya
Hoerner

Next year throw Ballestareos in front of Swanson breaking up the four righties at the end of the lineup.

Unless we trade Long I think Turner gets DFAd after the deadline.
