Looking at the Comcast Sportsnet Chicago schedule, it looks like the game will only be televised until 6:30, then change to something else. So, unless something changes, Comcast won't be carrying the whole game. BS.

For those of you hoping for a snow game, its possible. The long range GFS has been pointing at a significant storm in the Friday/Saturday time frame. The track has been bouncing around a lot, anywhere from IL(which would lead to IA snows) to up the Appalachians, so it too early to say what will pan out for Iowa.

I would expect to see some more ticket promotions coming out, wasnt there a deal where you could get reserved seating for only $25? Is that still going on?

No Bulls game that night so Comcast should have it on DirecTv in central Iowa.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Chicago Blackhawks are scheduled to be on Comcast Sports Net Chicago on November 20.

There are many older folks that normally go to the game but when it is that cold a lot of them simply can't take it. With the possibility of many students checking out for Thanksgiving and many older folks not able to attend not only will the numbers be down the volume will be down as well. I hate being negative about this but it is what it is.

Dress properly, if you do, you can leave a 30 degree game sweating...If people have the money to buy a ticket I would hopefully assume they'd have the money to buy longjohns, wool socks, handwarmers, stocking hats, etc. All you have to do is overdo it and shed some layers once there if need be...I see people of all ages in WAY colder games in GB and Chicago late in the year so i don't buy the elderly excuse, most of them are way tougher than kids today. my dad is in his 60's and will have no problem being there (he's also a farmer so he deals with much worse.) I really don't get the excuse, because to me it just boils down to people not being able to even stand the smallest of discomforts. This team is worth watching in -30 degree weather. all the pessimists need to start being happy it'll be 40 at kickoff.

hope we get a nice day for a night game.

I'm hoping for just the opposite.

I want it to be very cold and very windy with horizontal freezing rain.

I want it to be a game that is essentially meaningless for Missouri, and I want the weather to put a major damper on their high efficiency passing attack.

I want to see their players on the sideline in their parkas shivering and begging to get back on the warm bus.

I want them to cry like little girlys because their toes are cold.

If there is any student planning on not attending this game, I will gladly take their ticket off of their hands for them.

I think there will be plenty of students in Ames for that one. The last time we played Mizzou at the end of the year in the cold, we had a pretty good crowd. Students love to tailgate, and this is the last chance for the year. Why the hell would you go home when you're going to spend the whole next week there, and you have a ******** party to attend?

I'm just telling it as it is - there are many ISU fans that don't come to the games at all - like when Nebby and Iowa lose there are a ton of excuses.

I just can't help thinking about the possibility that was there for an ISU/Missouri game for the Big 12 North title.

NO we did not. Two years ago. Wind was howling. Freezing cold. Tough to hold the tailgating tent down. It absolutely sucked. I was there. The seats were pretty empty. It was like a morgue. The temp was about 30 degrees at gametime with about 30 mph winds and higher. It was an icebox. And when Mizzou went up on us big time the few people that were there left.

Hate it. Hate it. For those of us who have to drive long distances, it absolutely sucks. The fans are definitely not being considered when you have a night game in late November. Someone needs their head examined IMO.

Imagine how Mizzou feels....They have been trying forever to get there again. We have a year or two to go.
