This really ticks me off. First, Davis should keep his mouth shut. I don't know a lot about football but what the hell does it matter if Broomfield was 'loafing'?

Also to that ******* DB who said he 'doesn't go to the media when that happens'. The Iowa State players weren't the ones keeping that alive. The media saw the hit and the media knew that the hit was a cheap shot.

Mike Davis is a ****. And Mack Brown should suspend him anyway.

Broomfield was "loafing" because he saw that it was a run to the opposite side of the field, and Bergeron was already in the end zone. Davis barely came off the line of scrimmage at the snap, was able to see Broomfield casually walking, and decided to cut him - sideways into the knee. There is no justifying the play. Even Mack Brown says it was "wrong".

If Mack Brown really believes it was wrong he should suspend Davis himself. He doesn't have the guts though.

They should get killed by OU either way.

Contrast with the Texas receiver further right who gives our DB a little "bump". You can "keep playing" but you don't have to go cheap shot. Davis is too stupid to get it or he may just be a giant ***-hole.

The big 12 should have suspended him for a minimum of a game - got a "reprimand"
Mack Brown should have suspended him - defended him and finally now admits it was somewhat wrong, although not wrong enough to grow a pair and do something about it

I'm disappointed but not surprised how this coward is acting. How else do you expect mental midgets to act when they know they are above the law?

What a pusssy, he will get what's coming to him, f u Davis. He doesn't deserve to play football period with that kind of mentality. I hope oklahoma destroys them.

To me, MD exemplifies why Texas football as a whole stinks. A bunch of divas on the field not playing team ball, executing, etc., just worried more about their self promotion.

Mack has lost control of his players, and if I was a Texas fan, I would be more concerned about this, than anything.

Mike Davis didn't even start this game and played selective snaps due to a lingering injury. Does that mean our guy can run over and cut block him while he's loafing on the sideline? Mike Davis logic says yes. Yes we can.

Wait, so if a guy is "loafing" he deserves to have his knee blown out? By this rubric, Mike Davis should get his knee blown out every play. Watch the game. Mike Davis makes Randy Moss look like a hard worker.

Mike Davis... He is the type of guy that would be the first one begging for a flag if a DB even made a little contact on his route but he will cut block a guy in a dead ball situation that has his back turned standing 20 yards from the play?

Hopefully one of those Oklahoma defensive backs or linebackers turns his knee inside out "Lattimore" style.

Don't think for a second anyone associated with OU's football team isn't on notice with this idiot. Hopefully, they have a "kill or be killed" attitude with that kid. I'm thinking a Saints bounty kinda thing.

Honestly, if I'm Mack Brown I ban this dumb-*** from any social media or interviews and sit him for a week so things hopefully die down and he makes himself less of a target.
