Disagree. I don’t think there is any “fair” punishment possible, so including a basketball game in an opinion is dumb. If you are scarred like they are, you take that to the grave.
it's a small basketball jab at the 99 basketball season...don't make the statement a SJW thing when it's not.

Last time posting about my comment...it wasn't meant to be derogatory.

A lot of people just don't think it's in good taste to joke about a situation like this. Nothing SJW (wtf does that even mean?) about it.

The B1G is gaining quite a legacy/reputation. PSU, MSU and Iowa (Griesbaum and Meyer). The MSU thing is going to cost a bunch.

Of course there isn't a fair punishment. It's horrific, nothing will bring justice to those girls. Nothing will ever make them 100% whole/complete/safe again. They'll fight the rest of their lives. At the same time, I just don't take offense to making a joke about ISU getting screwed vs. MSU that to me in no way shape or form makes light of what these girls are going through or how much trouble MSU is in.

every MSU fan I have talked to is disgusted with their school. Have friends that have pretty much written off their fandom.

As far as Nassir, he is already going to spend the rest of his life in jail, its just how long his sentence is at this point. Think he is going to get like 40 years for every girl on top of the 60 he already has. Some strong women got on that stand the last couple days. This is far reaching, there were suicides, drug addictions, broken lives because of this guy, and MSU, USA Gymnastics, and several other institutions are guilty. The complete control that the Karolyi's had over that institution and these girls lives were a big part of letting this go on so long.

Maybe the Big IIXII should offer to trade the B1G Baylor for someone (Northwestern? Indiana?) so that the B1G can corner the market on evil.

Now this piece of garbage is complaining that he won't be able to handle all of the victim testimony...the judge tore him a new one....good for her.

They could just modify this old Swamp Thing idea. If I remember correctly, the abuser was just left alone in a room with just photos of his victims to stare at him.

If he can't face them in court, he could just have a nice private room where he still gets to hear the whole thing.
Or he can just suck it up instead of whining.

Sounds like he's got 40-60 years already for child porn. Now there are 150+ women coming forward. As a father of two daughters, its hard to have words after the testimony however I felt it was important to watch some of it because it reminds me of how important it its to me to protect them while they're so young and naive to the world.

He'll have a few hundred years to make his peace with God because that's all he has left in this world that he's destroyed for himself and so many others.

I just listened to a podcast on why they started using fingerprints for criminal investigations. Two kids were murdered and they tried to get the guy to confess by tying him to the kids. Turns out he didn’t do it, and they found out because his fingerprints didn’t match.

Ok that’s got nothing to do with this and the tape of the testimonials should be played in his cell until he’s dead, I just thought it was interesting.

Sounds like MSUs president was aware of the allegations/investigations into Nassar. I didn’t realize the victims included MSU student-athletes.

This gon’ be ugly.

What a ******* piece of ****. Thank god this judge is giving him everything he deserves. Plus I think she already stated that she guarenteed her sentence would put him behind bars for life but wanted to proceed with this proccess just so he had to live through it and to give the girls a voice.

Here sums up how I feel about it from the article.

“You may find it harsh that you are here listening, but nothing is as harsh as what your victims endured for thousands of hours at your hands collectively,” Aquilina said, staring at Nassar. “You spent thousands of hours perpetrating criminal sexual conduct on minors.

“Spending five or six days listening to them is significantly minor considering the thousands of hours of pleasure you had at their hands, ruining their lives,” Aquilina said.

I can't imagine being the father of the 17 year old who had to give permission for her daughter to testify due to age and stand by her. After hearing her speak to him I don't know if I'd have the strength to not jump the rail and try to attack the guy.

Same here. I know I should live to be a forgiving Christian, but it would take my whole life trying to forgive that SOB.
