I said take away a 6'5 NFL WR who draws attention from a safety, replace him with Epps/Eaton/Jalen/Akers/etc, that changes the entire field. You are actually debating this point? Parks stats are mediocre with Lazard. He is closer to Meyer and Arnaud than Sage and Seneca. And don't try to compare passer ratings from the pre-helmet-to-helmet-defenseless-WR era. Marino & Elway's numbers would be bottom 1/3 of the league in todays game.

Park was on pace to statistically be one of the best quarterbacks in ISU history before the Texas game....

He really doesn't like him for some reason and is now saying he'll be worse next year because we lose Lazard. Anyone on here knows I'm a huge Lazard fan but Butler, Jones and Eaton will be very good options next year and hopefully see an improved Allen.

I think another year under CMC plus an improved OL will make him a better QB.

I don't think that's crazy for me to think a senior QB will be better than he was as a junior, especially with all the weapons we will have offensively next season

Foster, Omoile, JGJ, Knipfel, Meeker isn't the '80s Redskins Hogs. He has more weaponry this year than he will have next year. Park isn't an NFL QB, and you take away a guy like Lazard, there is a real good chance he hits a plateau.

sigh . . . I don't know who either of those people are. Me, if I had a chance to sit down and have a beer with someone, I think it would be John Adams.

Sorry I’m a huge John Adams guy but if I have to pick I’m gonna have a beer with Selena Gomez and find out if magic really does exist.

I'm glad you know how next season will play out and who will be starting next year. I know this might sound crazy to you but I think we'll be better on both sides of the ball next year. Sorry if that upsets you

Kempt makes me nervous I'm games against the likes of TTech or Baylor where we'll probably need 40 points to win.

Yep, iSu only got 38 points at OU . . . we didn't even need 40 to win in Norman. Are you saying OU's defense is worse than either TT's or Baylor's?

Statistically in what? Net passing yards? Juxtaposing 3 non-con games vs UNI, Iowa, Akron over a 12 game season? Well ISU has a terrible football history, most of our seasons we have used 2 or 3 QBs, and it is laughably stupid to try to compare QBs historically as the spread and defenseless WR era has changed the game so much. Elway and Marino have passer ratings that are bottom 1/3rd of the league.

You think Park, the guy who is 66th in the country in passer rating, is a legend? Ok, how many seasons does he spend as an NFL starter?

That might be the age difference between you and I, assuming SG is a looker (there, that dates me).

It's like you're searching for a reason for Iowa State to be bad next season. You're either a self-hating Cyclone or troll.

Next to Steele Jantz, I never seen a QB who can tattoo a free safety right in the numbers quite like Park. I don't think anybody here would bet $1,000 on him spending 1 single day on a 53 man roster. Last year he had a 139 passer rating (Lanning was 137...and he has a terrible arm). This year Park's passer rating was a mediocre 155 playing the likes of UNI, Iowa and, Akron, before falling to 135 after the disaster vs Texas. Next year take away Lazard and move over the safety that's usually shading him...the 20 yard darts to Carson Epps will drop that passer rating to 125. Kempt isn't good, but neither is Park. Park has the stronger arm and tighter spiral, but playing QB is 75% mental...I like the Computer Science major Kempt in this regard.

So everyone sucks?

You're right to have your opinion, just realize that statistics say your opinion is wrong.

PS: nobody gives a **** about passer ratings.
