Friday is his last day. Signed. The Zuck.:notworthy:If this is true how can NBC let Conan keep going on the air and bashing them?
nice little bit here by Conan. Making sure people realize that really, none of this **** matters.
Maybe she meant people with no sense of humor, who happen to be 112.Wow - you like to remind posters here to stay classy and avoid personal attacks, and then you post this.
Wow. Got hypocrisy?
Unless you're doing the Nielson ratings it really doesn't matter. You might want to give Community and 30 rock a try. The entire Thursday comedy lineup is pretty good save for Parks and Rec. But other than that I too will be ditching NBC until Leno is off the air.
Hell I might even DVR Letterman and immeadiately delete it if it'll hurt Leno.

I think it's just people at random across the United States. They used to fill out a log, but I think now they hook something to their TV. At any rate, I don't think it's a very exact science anymore. With the number of options these days I'd think it'd be hard to get a good sampling of who is watching what. How do they actually do the Nielsen ratings?
How do they actually do the Nielsen ratings?
In some markets people have a box hooked up to their tv that reports back to Nielsen what they watched, and then Nielsen bases their results on the total population area.
Other markets write them in a "diary" of what they watched when, and the same method is used. It didn't take into account DVR viewing in the past, but I think they are working on that now. It's really a joke in my opinion how they measure results.
This site has been pretty quick with Conan updates if anyone is interested...sounds like the ratings recently have taken a turn for the better for him...

Wouldn't NBC have to continue paying Conan for the remaining 3 and half years in order to keep him off the air?
