Is there a time in your life

I keep trying to think of something; lots of awful and "so horrendous it makes you want to vomit" things have happened to me in my life, but each and every one of them made me stronger, or otherwise shaped my world.

I guess the older I get, the more I appreciate the forming process.

Now, I admit to being torn about certain things. But regret, no....

I changed my mind. Not something I did, but something I didn't do. I should have played basketball in high school. I was 5'4 at age 14, and not inclined to go out. At 16, I was 6'2, but felt like I was behind the curve at that point.
I wish that I had gone out for golf. Would have been a much cheaper althernative to learning the game. kind of like you I started late (age 16), and so i never thought about trying.

I would go back and stop Larry from going to that Missouri party. Or, just track that punk down....punch him in the face and steal his camera so the incident wouldn't have even happened.

With his drinking habits of the time, the incident would have happened anyway. Whether it was Missouri or not, who knows, but that sort of thing always comes out.

Not necessarily times I want to erase, but times I definitely regret not doing things differently looking back on them......DOH!!

-Not pushing myself harder in high school athletically or acedemically b/c I was already good enough & smart enough.

-Not voting in the 2000 or 2004 elections - regardless of not liking any of my options at the time.

-Not going to the 2000 Insight.com bowl.

-Not going to a single ISU wrestling match in college despite having the opportunity to witness the best collegiate wrestler in history every single year.

-Forgetting to change our W-4 federal withholding after my wife and I both got raises last year.

Ah well, live and learn....

Not asking out the women I should have. And asking the ones I shouldnt have. Oh well, I like my wife now so I guess it worked out.

I dont have regrets per se about things in my past but as said in here, there are things I would have done a little differently. Hurting others' feelings and such.

I wish I could have stayed in college for 7 years instead of 6 and gotten one more year of tailgating and partying as a student.
