Kinda how everyone ******* and cries about a fricking 1 hour time change two times a year? I mean hell we had to have an entire thread for people to cry about that.

You do seem to care what I post with your following, commenting and reacting to everything I post. So apparently My opinion matters to you.

Have a nice day.

Wouldn't say I care per se, your takes have just made me laugh quite a bit these past couple weeks. When someone posts THAT many times about smash burgers it's easy to remember the username/avatar. Now you're doing the same thing, only this time it's a war on wind chill lol..

Its not about wind chill. Yes I know its been around a long time. My point was when you would talk about the weather up until a few years ago, people would say its going to be 5 below with a -20 wind chill.

Now many times people dont even talk about the actual temp they only want to go by the "feels like" temp. And as I said, -20 feels like is very cold yes, but actual temp of -20 is colder. Because a few years ago, people talked about the actual temp and then assumed the wind chill on top of it.

Now we hear people say "it feels like -20 out, so its the same as when it was actually -20" But that is just false because almost always actual -20 will have a much lower wind chill itself. Like I said its fine to go by "feels like" temp, with the understanding its not the same thing as what the actual actual temps.

Not a grudge, just an annoying observation, of how things have changed.

This is so dumb. The windchill helps to inform those who might be stupid enough to go out in -20 with a stiff breeze in just a sweatshirt that it isn't just the -20 that can cause you real permanent physical damage it is the cold plus the wind that can make it dangerous in just a matter of minutes - less time than you are standing waiting for the school bus you stupid teenager!

And if you think I am exaggerating, you haven't taken a kid to the bus stop lately, have you? There are teenagers who don't put on long pants until it gets below zero and don't wear more than a sweatshirt until their parents make them around -20.

And this is why we now have to cancel school for cold something they never did back in my 13 years of elementary and secondary school. Back then we were too cool to dress for the weather - too cool, that is until it got dangerous then we bundled up because we knew that we weren't getting sympathy for frost bite when we didn't dress for the weather.

Hey you kids, get off my (frozen tundra of a) lawn!

A lot of you seem way more upset that I am annoyed by "feels like" temp usage, than I am about how its used.

I posted an observation, and slight annoyance of the usage. And woof some of you cant handle it.

Sorry, but I think you all think I am way more angry than I am, and you all seem way more upset about that than you should be.

Its ******* cold outside, I agree, happy now?

Moving on.
We think it is funny. Relax angry guy.

Niece’s daughter in Dallas was supposed to have a dental appointment tomorrow. I guess everybody in front of her cancelled so the DDS cancelled her all on the account of cold weather. 31 for a high tomorrow! Pansies! Parents complaining that they should cancel school to because of their cold. SMH!!
