It looked like he drug his pivot foot to me. Its neither here nor there because it wasn't called and that is the way the ball bounces some times. We have had more than our share of calls go against us.

When you look at this angle I would have to agree with you. I also agree that there were a lot of things that could have been called in that game that weren't - fouls, 3 seconds, other travels...

There are a few sets of BIG legs in that bunch not to mention some paunches.

Man, if that's a travel every game would finish 8-6.

If you go by the book I believe that is by definitions a travel.

If you go by common sense you acknowledge that we got away with one that a lot of people get away with. Doesn't make it right or wrong, it is just the way it is. Most likely we will get it called on us at some point to make up for it or KState will probably get a no call or ten in their next game.

If I'm a KState fan I'm thinking it really wasn't that big of a no call anyway. Most likely if it had been called we would have gone to OT and ISU most likely would have won since we had all the momentum right then.

It is just a part of the game that people have to accept. However, I hope the White and the team take it as a learning moment to watch their feet and improve because next time we might not be as lucky.

I agree but think the only way a ref makes that call is if he's standing directly behind him on the sideline.

" As far as Iowa State - they have some big time scorers who can create shots and are deadly from 3. Plus it's in Ames - ever been out there? I'm scared of being in Iowa in the day time - much less going there at night to play a basketball game. You feel like you're on another planet up there - same as the middle of Kansas."

I thought this was hilarious!

Yeah, I'm still not seeing a travel. He kept the same pivot foot.

Doesn't matters.

He drug his pivot foot about a foot without dribbling. In theory, once he has established his pivot foot, he can't move that foot until he either gets rid of the ball or dribbles.

If he is going toward the rim, he is allowed 3 steps I believe, but he has to have already legally come off his pivot foot. Switching pivot foots without dribbling is also a travel, but the key is that the pivot foot is only allowed to pivot, not move from its geographical position.

As I've stated many times, it was a travel, but that doesn't mean we didn't deserve to win. KState had no calls during the game. This wasn't a conspiracy. Either the ref didn't see it or didn't see it well enough to call it.

most of our cheerleaders are pretty ugly this year, and worse yet, completely out of shape. I always here cheerleaders want to be considered athletes, well start looking like one. I can't believe 18-22 year old kids are that fat. If you know you are going to go in front of thousands, possibly millions on tv, have some pride, and stop eating so damn much.

If, in theory, you call that a traveling violation, you most certainly have to call the foul on McGruder that occurred before the alleged travel.

READ MY POST!!!

IT WAS A TRAVEL! IT DOESN'T MATTER!

You can admit that White traveled. It is clear that he did. Admitting it doesn't mean that KState won or we are somehow not Cyclone fans. As I've already said, most likely we would have won the game regardless.

If the refs had seen it, it should have been called, but they didn't see and they didn't call it. If a ref starts not calling fouls and travels in order to balance out the no calls it means he is crocked and shouldn't be reffing.

Your like a kid refusing to lose an argument. Just because someone else may have done something wrong doesn't mean that what we did wasn't wrong. White traveled, get over it. The points counted, it doesn't matter. It would be like George Bush refusing to admit he lost the popular vote back in 2000. Does it matter and what does it benefit to argue against the facts when your the victor.
