That is for sure their long-term plan with the recent reports on a scheduling agreement. Dominate the pre-season rankings with reputation, then only play each other; can't lose!
LSU LOST to a team in USC who is going to finish in the middle of the Big Ten on a neutral field. Iowa State went INTO Iowa City and beat an Iowa team who likely finish in the top 4 of the Big Ten.
Iowa State is undefeated. LSU is not. If the name on the front of the jerseys were reversed LSU would NOT be the higher ranked team. Benefit of the doubt the SEC receives is downright ridiculous.

We are way too sensitive. He was all over our nuts in the baylor game just the week before. Probably just giving some love to the home team but this guy is definitely a fan of ISU
You're not wrong, but he was going way over the top, pointing out officiating mistakes and trying to correlate how they changed the game. It wasn't necessary for him to keep bringing up the subject.
Great for the program. Soak up the accolades, even if the difference is basically just one game from some other good seasons (no Iowa loss or stumble like Louisiana)

I could honestly somewhat understand it if he flipped us and K-State. I think we’re deserving of a top 10 ranking, but I can see where some wouldn’t think that based on schedule strength.Eric Hansen at College Poll Tracker
