Dumb comments aside, the original post does have a point. I do think BYU has a slightly better resume than us right now by beating SMU and K-State.

But I think BYU drops 2 of the next 3 (OSU, at UCF, at Utah). If they come out 3-0, I'll be the first one to say they're resume is much better than ISU. If both keep winning, we won't have to argue about resumes because we'll meet in Dallas.

I’m terrible at picking usernames. The first thing that popped into my head was that game.

I’d been a Cyclone fan since birth, but that win was ******* monumental. Lafester just seemed to come out of nowhere. And for me personally, when he explained he’d been a 400m runner and that’s how he knew nobody could keep up…well as an impressionable kid it certainly, uhh, left an impression.

I was at that game, albeit much younger (cough). It was the loudest sporting event I’ve ever been to. Hell of a win that night.

Yeah, I am feeling bad for BYU. Would like it if both ISU and BYU made the playoff and actually made some noise.

This is the key. Big 12 teams must routinely win playoff games. If they don't, it'll just turn into the auto bids minor conferences get for the NCAA tourney.
