We are way too sensitive. He was all over our nuts in the baylor game just the week before. Probably just giving some love to the home team but this guy is definitely a fan of ISU

I love Brando but yeah it wasn't his best night last night. He does talk up ISU any chance he can get though. Even last night he made the comment that 2 undefeated Big 12 teams play in the Big 12 Championship (ISU, BYU) that both should be making the playoffs.

I'm sure K-State fans hated him after last years snow bowl vs ISU haha

Iowa is going to start rolling these lower level dog crap Big Ten teams. Up next: FriendlySpartans trash can of a football program. National media will start to respect that win more with each passing week.

They have been playing well outside of the tOSU game. Covering the spread against the mid-level B1G teams.

The way Iowa plays makes them very hard to beat if you are at roughly their talent level or below.. but it’s extremely difficult for them to beat team like OSU/PSU/Oregon types in their conference.

Their defense plays so absurdly aggressively and downhill that they are VERY hard to play against for middling teams. Teams with either NFL offensive lines (see, e.g., PSU last year) or extremely talented receivers (ISU this year, some historic Purdue teams), or both (Ohio State) can score on Iowa. If Iowa is behind they will not win.

I listened to John and Eric, so I didn't hear his call but even Bruns was talking about how bad Brando was last night on his sunday pod.

He was basically calling out the system and the sec and big ten bias over the big 12 if anyone was listening. I was surprised he went there but he did.

He seemed to get really feisty after they showed Rocco’s dad with the old WV coach. Brando got really giddy at that point about him and WV and would argue about things that went our way after that.

Didn't pay much attention to their bias but thought they both seemed to not really know the teams all that well and got confused by penalties or different plays.

Brando was mad at a spot ISU got when Rocco scrambled on 3rd down and got hit before the 1st but dived forward right to the first down. The color commentator on multiple occasions corrected him and Brando would say something like, well I guess according to the rules.

Brando reminds me of late-stage Musburger. Good announcer voice, enthusiasm is still there, polarizing because he's not afraid to stir the pot, but not very accurate on the call.

He was terrible last night but doesn’t mean he hates isu. He was fawning all over us against baylor and KSU last year

A weird but I think realistic prediction. If both us and Tech win next weekend I think either GameDay or Big Noon come to Ames for that game and Purdy and Mahomes are flown in to be the celebrity guests. 49ers have a bye that week and KC has a home game on Monday night.

If tech wins against Baylor and @tcu and we beat UCF, I could see a morning show coming to Ames. Gameday will likely go to Penn State with OSU coming to town but Big Noon would be smart to come to Ames in that scenario

They will both go to the big game.
