Because you are supposed to be a professional with some common sense. What good would come out of hooking up with a student besides awkwardness, public humiliation, questions of fairness, maybe a kid??

For example, many companies consider using the internet on company time to view porn to be a cause for termination yet those actions may not be a criminal violation as long as underage models are not viewed.
I recently found out that my neighbors growing up met in high school. He was the teacher and she was a student. Been married for 30+ years with four kids.
