I like the show but..... Sigh
So now Skye is a badass because she got her hair done? I guess it's so easy to be an expert special forces operative.
And the hack anything from anywhere with your movie laptop theme is equally annoying.
But what shook my head the most was the standoff with the guards and running away in the open field.
Might be overcriticle, but I remember just shaking my head. I guess I was never crazy about Skye's character to begin with and show is basically centered on her.

Agree, and don't get me started on a guy who can turn his body into any material he touches! :jimlad:

I think Elizabeth Hendstrige (Simmonds' actress) recorded a movie and I think it clashed with Agents a little bit.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to show Fitz talking to her and she's "There"

May is training Skye. Seems like that would go a long way in training somebody for these operations. May is sort of skilled.

According to this logic, I should have Barry Bonds teach me how to hit a homerun. I will be an All Star by the 2015 season right?

You do realize you are watching a show based on a comic book universe which includes talking raccoons, aliens, and Norse Gods, right? It's not supposed to be Zero Dark Thirty.

These arguments are not the same thing. I understand what you are saying, but you can be very loose with fantasy ideas because there isn't anything to compare them to, but human interaction and reaction is basically understood by most watchers. There is an eye test when watching certain things and this show is far from being the only one that misses on those things. I guess I was just really excited for the new season and as I watched I just.... was a little disappointed. The rest of the show was great though. Can't expect it to be perfect.

True, but who is to say Skye is even human? In fact most of the evidence from season 1 points to the fact that she is not, or is at least not a "normal" human.

I get what you are saying, but this is a TV show. Who wants to sit through a whole season of just Skye and May working out in the gym?

I wonder what Ward knows about Skye's father. All in all I'm pretty excited for this season. So is Patton Oswalt a LMD?

Either an entire line of identical LMD's or a proxy for Jamie Madrox. I personally would love it if he were the MCU's Multiple Man.

Thats a plot line but don't you think people would have mentioned or even discussed if her learning curve with physical combat was way above and beyond? Regardless if human or not, she hasn't showed "superhuman" traits ever so that discussion is pointless.
And no, I don't want to see them working out in the gym for a year, but I know even experienced fighters don't become Rambo in a year.

To sum up, I even said on my last post that it's not perfect and can't expect to be, but is still a good show. Just felt like ranting a bit on the things that turned me off it.

I honestly dont get the hate for Skye some have.

How is that? Her anarchist turned good character origin(Never been done before right?). I can hack the highest level of computer security with my iPhone schtick? Her "I need to find my parents" storyline retread that is just crap? Or the fact that she is really not that sympathetic or likeable, and yet the show is centered on her? She seemed to be the proxy for the audience in the first season and that was fine, but now she is just awesome spy girl, Black Widow wannabe? Sorry, that is just terrible show writing.

For all the people saying you dont want Skye in a gym, fine. But you brought in another shield agent that I thought was supposed to be a black version of Ward. Why isn't he running with May? It would make a whole lot more sense, but instead they wedge Super- Skye down the throats of the viewers. She should still be running backup to those two, not basically be on their level.

This show has alot of problems. The Fitz storyline could be good this season and is something they should explore. Ward is an awesome conundrum down in his cell. But based on what I saw last year, I expect them to just push those two characters aside and go glitz effects, "Fight the Hydra!" week after week.

I pretty much agree with this. I do tend to go for shows with a darker element but also a huge superhero fan from way back. I will watch this show through because as I stated before, it's not bad, but I wish some things were different.
