So wildly good for him. Can't even wrap my head around what a post playing career lifestyle would look like if I had that much by age 30$181 million guaranteed

Brock will probably do something to make a big positive difference in the world. Also good.

Don't listen. It's easy. The hatred for BP really gets to me. I don't get it.
Most casual fans just can't get over the fact he was a 7th round pick. They'd rather pay a guy like Trey Lance that money because all they see is "talent" and not production.
I get BP isn't tall and can't throw the ball 85 yards off his back foot or run a 4.3 40. But none of that **** really matters.
Honestly, the same stuff was said about Tom Brady his first few years. I'm not saying BP is TB. But guys who don't have the WOW measurables never get credit from fans. It shouldn't bother me but it does. I'm glad the 49ers front office sees what value BP brings to their organization.
I think part of it stems from the fact that people doubted him during his initial successes, and just can't stand admitting that they were wrong, so they have doubled down again and again (cough cough Cowherd)The hatred for BP really gets to me. I don't get it.

Brock is not the most athletic QB, Not the fastest. not the most elusive, not the strongest arm, not the tallest, etc.... But he does get results. He is a winner, his teammates believe in him and he deserves the $.
The naysayers and talking heads can go pound sand.

Pro sports fans will always be enamored with measurables and potential. They get super invested in the draft, which is insane behavior to me. I do think it's bizarre how many fans and some of the media are enthusiastically cheering against him. Is it just because it's the 49ers? Jealousy? He's fun to watch, is a model citizen, and a self aware, likable guy, yet fans can't wait to tear him down. In conclusion, NFL fans suckThe hatred for BP really gets to me. I don't get it.
