Part of me has to step back and remind myself that not long ago, We were just hoping that Brock would make an NFL roster. Now the question is how large his contract extension will be.

If someone thought Brock would stay away then they dont know Brock.

Absolutely agree. Brock is team first, second, and third. Of course he wants a lot of money and guaranteed before the season, but it's not in his DNA to "hold out".

I love that about Brock. I also worry though because 1) their OL sucks ass and he's going to be running for his life, and 2) they've lost a ton of playmakers so his productivity and stats are likely to go down quite a bit, reducing eventual compensation.

How can the NFLPA have such a bad collective bargaining agreement in terms of how Purdy gets treated?

The owners show up to these things with lawyers. The players show up with former players.

Surely, regardless of rookie status, he is doing quite well, and he is on the threshold of making generational money for his family AND ISU'S NIL Fund.
