Through 52 games:

CPR: 24-28
Home: 15 wins (12 losses)
Home vs ranked: 1 win (8 losses)
Away vs ranked: 3 wins (7 losses)
Bowls: 1 win NR Minnesota (2 losses NR Tulsa, NR Rutgers)
Conference: 12 wins (20 losses)
VS Iowa: 2-2

CMC: 26-26
Home: 16 wins (11 losses)
Home vs ranked: 3 wins (6 losses)
Away vs ranked: 2 wins (5 losses)
Bowls: 1 win #19 Memphis (2 losses #15 ND, #12 Wazzu)
Conference: 18 wins (18 losses)

Would have taken CPR 5 more years to equal CMC's conference win total...

I don't know that we'll see much improvement from this OL or not?

Downing went down, and in came a walk on..... that's our depth. And he got steamrolled. He tried his best, but if you have an even average OL.... that guy is not on your 2 deep.
This didn't age well.

Campbell is 2 wins under Mac For conference wins. 5 versus 12 seasons. Mac averaged 2.2 conference wins a season.
To be fair Mac had no facilities, no recruits, a very tough schedule. That did turn in his favor around 2000 every two years, but by then he was deep in a hole.

Not exactly sure.

He was low on players had a little talent, did have a huge hole with recruiting and that showed up quickly with 0 depth.

I really enjoyed CW's 3 up/3 down after the game. He posted CPR's tweet congratulating ISU. Classy.

To be fair, in twelve years he never fixed any of that. Even though he was immediately gifted with Troy Davis.

I was a Mac supporter. In the light of what CPR has done, I won’t be a Mac apologist.

I couldn’t remember exactly who he started with. I think Doxson was a hold over and was thinking a lineman or two went to the pros off the carryovers. Believe Walden said he left with 52 scholarship players. (University and sanctions cut down to that). That was the major issue. UNI even had 63.

Rhonda benefited from a **** Iowa team and weak big 12 north. Also an additional non con game the first two years. Although one was Utah that didn’t go so well

I feel like if you're going to make this type of thread then you should at least be accurate. Campbell had to clean up the mess Rhoads left.
He also went from 3 wins to I think 7 or 8? In two years with literally a bunch of scrubs, no offense to those young men but man CMC was dealt a tough had and has maximized this program and fast!

Walden inherited the ******** of depleted scholarships. I think we were full strength when Mac took over. And he inherited a #28 RB that was pretty decent.
