If anyone is interested he needs less than 2500 yards to take over 2nd place on the Minnesota High School career yardage list (he had almost 3,000 last year). First place is probably out of reach since a kid in a small school (248 kids gr.7-12) passed for 11,214 yards. I believe it was over 5 years as their starter. Aiden would need over 4,800 yards this year to overtake him. That other kid is on the roster at Gustavus Adolphus now.

So I’m guessing this kid is the real deal based on not publicly offering Chubba Purdy at least in the staffs eyes.

We have offered Hunter Dekkers, QB, West Sioux High School. He has thrown right at 7,000 yards. Offers from K-state, Purdue, Indiana, Central Michigan, Northern Iowa, South Dakota State. He has been in touch with Wisconsin, UCLA, Ohio State, Michigan State, Baylor, and Hawks. 6'3" 230, ran on state qualifying 4x100 team. I like this kid!

I wouldn't be surprised if we sign two QB's. With Purdy and Bouman I kinda get the feeling that either Mitchell or Dean will end up transferring out.
