So if someone makes a hard jab step I’m obligated to back up? How the hell are you supposed to guard? He has to allow him room to move. Heise's lower body was fine, but his head and chest were too close. View attachment 143767

There would be 20+ cylinder calls every game if they were called like it was on Heise. It was a bad callHe has to allow him room to move. Heise's lower body was fine, but his head and chest were too close. View attachment 143767
His assists are huge. He had 8 today. I’d rather have him making those passes than throwing up a contested shot. As long as Milan is looking to score like he did the 3nd half today, I’m good with Jefferson distributing.
More things in life to get frustrated about lolIt’s not sports-frustrating when the opposing team drains monster shot after shot after shot, regardless of the level of difficulty!?
I might seriously need your help to understand how that’s not “frustrating at all”! Sincerely.
I think his playing hurt contributed to his increase in turnovers the past three or four weeks.Love Gilbert, but he does not play and ISU only has 12 turnovers against this D. One of the lowest totals in awhile
Maybe this injury will allow him to also reset his mind.
I don't think it's a coincidence the number dropped
Do you know what a bad call is because it was a bad call. There is a reason why they put that elbow to the face is a foul. The spirit of that call is for player safety.Do you know what the cylinder is? Serious question. It doesn’t seem like a lot on here understand it.
Hope you are right. Think you probably areI think his playing hurt contributed to his increase in turnovers the past three weeks.
They're like the Kansas City Chiefs of NCAA MBB.Today shows why Houston might not be a great tourney team. Not a lot of offense, rely on a lot of individual stuff, and very hard shot making. Lot of those days that slop won't fall.
Isn’t it morale victory!?For what little value a moral victory has, that's a top tier moral victory. Didn't hurt our seed line or standing any, really. Played way, way above expectation. Made the opponent think about losing multiple times. Took a career game from 1 guy to beat you. And you did all of that without two of your top 3 guards and filling in the gaps completely with bench players. And even did that with your main center not contributing much.
That's a great game for us. It's hard to feel bad about how this went given the circumstances. I hope it did wonders for Heise and Chat in particular. Maybe Milan as well, who worked out his funk in the 2H.
And again, for Kelderman, who did his job in a situation he should never have to.

Absolutely a ridiculous rule! If called as the rule is written, there would be no defense played and fouls all the time! There would be 20+ cylinder calls every game if they were called like it was on Heise. It was a bad call
They probably will not play a team that matches them in defensive intensity like ISU.Today shows why Houston might not be a great tourney team. Not a lot of offense, rely on a lot of individual stuff, and very hard shot making. Lot of those days that slop won't fall.
Agree. Some of those shots at end of shot clock were very well defended.Today shows why Houston might not be a great tourney team. Not a lot of offense, rely on a lot of individual stuff, and very hard shot making. Lot of those days that slop won't fall.
I've never understood why we haven't tried to post Milan all year, finally did it today.I really hate how we stopped going through Milan and tried to pound it inside against the strength of that defense
Houston is #6 in offensive efficiency, well ahead of us. They are one of the BEST 3pt shooting teams in the country. They have no trouble scoring. Our defense deserves a TON of credit for holding them under 70.They're like the Kansas City Chiefs of NCAA MBB.
If that was in the cylinder, every defender that is not a yard away is in the cylinder. Houston was in the cylinder a lot then. I his we should just sing our elbows to get the call.Do you know what the cylinder is? Serious question. It doesn’t seem like a lot on here understand it.
